About React Learning

Built by someone who believes learning should feel alive.

Hayden Kreuter

Hi, I'm Hayden - a computer science student turned builder who saw firsthand how disconnected education has become from curiosity. In high school, I noticed how many students didn't know what they were good at, what they wanted to do, or even how to start figuring that out. School taught us how to follow instructions, not how to think.

In college, when large language models like ChatGPT appeared, I saw both sides of the story: incredible potential and dangerous misuse. Students were turning to AI to get answers - not understanding - and classrooms weren't built to compete with that temptation. That's when the idea for React Learning took shape.

Why React Learning Exists

Learning shouldn't feel like work. It should feel like discovery.

It's designed for students who want a place to start, not a shortcut to finish. You can talk to it, write on it, draw solutions, upload problems, and get real-time feedback - the same way you'd interact with a personal tutor. Instead of giving away answers, the AI asks questions, guides reasoning, and helps you build true understanding through interaction.

The long-term vision is to evolve from an AI problem-solver into a full learning ecosystem - complete lessons, social learning, games, and personalized progress that connects concepts across subjects. Eventually, I want it to loop back into real classrooms, blending technology with real human connection and curiosity.

The Principles Behind It

Real learning means being able to apply what you know - not just recall it.

AI should guide thinking, not replace it.

Education should be personal, engaging, and ethical.

React Learning isn't about showing off technology. It's about using it to help people think for themselves.

About Me

When I'm not coding, you'll probably find me outside - hiking, biking, or camping around Charlotte - or playing piano. Most of React Learning has been built in coffee shops, trains, and parks across the city, anywhere curiosity and caffeine meet. I've been inspired by platforms like Khan Academy, which prove that great education doesn't need gimmicks - just research, empathy, and clarity.
